Today i was not in class because i was sick so i don' know what happened.

Today in class we watched "Guns, Germs, and Steel" based on a novel by James Dimonde, I thought the beginning of the video was very good because you are learning about how people lived long ago. I don't really know what I think about Dimonde's theory because I don't really understand it. I think I have to watch more of the video to better understand it.

Today in class we took more notes on urban geography. we talked about the man that is going to the places where humans first started to spread. some of the people in the class thought he was just plain stupid, but I actually think its kinda cool. after him, we talked about the Mayan's and their sacrifices. I, along with the rest of the class thought it was wrong to do.

Today in class we started our new unit about urban geography. I find this unit  very interesting because I dont really know anything about it and Mr. Schick told us that for the first time ever in the past couple of years that urban areas became more populated than the rural areas.
